They settled in Cloverdale in 1952 where they raised five children until moving to Richmond in 1973. Winn loved being active. She walked ‘the trail’ every day and returned with a tale of the dogs she met along her way. Harry and Winn enjoyed ballroom and square dancing, hiking, cross country skiing, as well as fishing trips and outings with the Golden Rod and Reels Club. During Winn’s last decade, she struggled with memory impairment . Harry lovingly provided her with constant support. Mom will be missed for her joy of living, her unrestrained joy for all dogs, as well as her love for Harry and pride in her family. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 am at Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond. Internment will be at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644-72nd Avenue, Surrey.
