<div itemprop="description">Isomura, Dr Soichi<br />Sept 17,1923 - Aug 22, 2015<br /> <br />Dr. Soi Isomura passed away peacefully in Richmond at the age of 91 on August 22, 2015. He was born in Vancouver. In 1951 he married his sweetheart ,Frances . He completed medical school at McGill in 1955. He was a dedicated family physician who practiced in Point St Charles in Montreal from 1961 to 1971 and then in Richmond, BC from 1971 until 1998. He developed a love for Argentine tango dancing and enjoyed many evenings taking tango lessons and dancing at the Hall. He was an avid reader and had a thirst for knowledge. Soi was predeceased by his parents Fusa and Tsuruo and his two brothers Hideharu and Toshio. He was a beloved husband to his wife Frances, and father to his children; Theresa Isomura (Greg Harrington), Mary Ann Dowd (Lloyd Dowd) and John Isomura . He loved his grandchildren, Kirsten and Akira Dowd, Angela, Naomi, and Megan Harrington. The family would like to thank Dr Stokes, Dr Wong, the nurses and staff at Richmond Hospital 3 North and also Dr Keiss and the staff at St. Paul's hospital PACH clinic for the compassionate care they provided to Soi. A Celebration of Dr. Soi Isomura's Life will be held at the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, BC on Friday August 28, 2015 at 2:30 pm. Flowers and Koden are gratefully declined, rather a donation to the PACH clinic at St. Paul's Hospital or The Richmond Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. <br /></div>
